On the summer of June 2025, word spread about an outbreak of an unknown plague in Northeastern England. Many believed that the government of The United Kingdom would be able to contain the epidemic, confident in their abilities as a nation. By the end of the week, the results were disastrous. Not only did millions die but we lost contact with nations such as The United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and Sweden. Soon information leaked out, reporting that the disease spread rapidly to countries as China and Russia, quickly overrunning the dense population within a matter of hours. When China fell, the United States of America soon passed a embargo of flights and shipments coming in from anywhere in the world to keep the plague out. However, their attempts failed along with countless nations' attempts as well. And like hundreds of empires before, humanity rose to the height of its power and fell to its knees after its golden age passed and its people lost their once glorious past.
