Lesley was a 16 year old girl fighting her own battles having terrible depression, anxiety and trying to find her true self, she has been having up hill battle that crash downwards. Debating wheather or not if she's gay or straight for years until she finally came to terms with it, that she is indeed lesbian, then eventually being to scared to tell her father and step-mother and mother closeting her feelings and isolating herself on the whole situation.
Her father is moving into a small town in Minnesota where people know everything and everyone, she isn't quite prepared since she wasn't ready to make new friends just after discovering herself, but she deals with it, eventually she meets this girl who is kind of a stoner and hippy-child open minded, creative and falls head-over-heals for, she meets a couple of quirky friends who are pretty nice overall people who just like to relax most of the time, traveling and going places with friends is what these guys do for fun.
