Hayden Scott suspected something was a little off when her patient brother tried to bite her when she was just six years old. Nevertheless, she lived a relatively normal life among other humans.

It wasn't until she bumped into the devilishly beautiful demon, Xavier Bishop, that her life finally began to make sense.

However, Xavier proved to be mysterious and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with  Hayden. Hayden soon learnt that Xavier had taken an oath never to love a human being.

When Hayden's brother is injured in a car accident, Hayden realises her own life is at risk.

Despite Xavier's pale skin and dark eyes, Hayden finds herself falling for the demon. Only fate will decided whether he kills or protects her.

One night, a demon appears before Hayden and warns her of a darkness within Xavier, and warns her that if she continues on the path shes on shell suffer the same fate as those before her.
