Sixteen soon to be seventeen-year-old Jolene Hale has been labeled mentally unstable.
She's had the dreams every night since she can remember.
Invariably different, yet invariably the same; and each one as haunting as the last.

She tried to tell her parents when they first began, and since she was young they insisted the "dreams" were just a product of her imagination- that was until she told them what the dreams contained.

After that she found herself being flung to the nearest child psychiatrist, which resulted in two therapy sessions a week and a little pink pill twice a day, once when she wakes up, once before bed.

Jolene is well used to feeling alone and invisible. That is until one night, one dream, and one perplexing man.
