Angel is lost in the idea of Charlie. The ten year old genius she fell in love with. The same kid that loved her back in the way that only two naive people could, but in one year things change for the worst and life hits them like it hits everyone. Angel's father commits suicide the same day that Charlie leaves.
Eight years pass and everything remained the same for Angel. She is stuck in a house she hates, with the woman she blames for her father's suicide and a condition which makes her remember every small detail about her life. She is in and out of memory lane stuck somewhere with Charlie.
But he is back in town and contrary to Angel he doesn't remember anything. To him Angel is just a stranger among the many strangers in high school; and he has changed. He grew out of his nerdy, scrawny persona into a man Angel isn't sure she knows. But for the first time in her life she is determined to fight. She is determined to fight for the ten year old Charlie and for the eighteen year old Charlie, that hides beneath his strong persona thousands of secrets.
