Rogue had absorbed Ms. Marvel's power, keeping her locked away in the back of her mind. But that never stopped the guilt. Every week Rogue would go and visit Carol, hoping for some change, some chance that her reasons for guilt would no longer be valid. One night, the visits take a horrid turn.
Now Ms. Marvel is in control, with Rogue trapped in the back of her mind. Will anybody notice in time to help Rogue? Or is it her turn to be trapped back there for good?
*There will be some Romy (GambitxRogue) and just a fair warning I suck at accents so I'm sorry if I offend anyone with them.
**I've seen all of the 90's X-Men, X-Men:Evolution, and Wolverine and the X-Men, not to mention all of the movies. When I wrote the first chapter I hadn't finished Wolverine and the X-Men, First Class, or Days of Future Past. Now I am all up to date.
***And obviously I don't own X-Men. If I did, I would be doing better things than writing fanfiction and watching Netflix. I would make more movies and actually ADD Gambit and Rogue scenes. Where they're together. And she's not with Bobby. (What the heck was with that?)

The X-men saga continues... It's been about 4 months since DJs Shine and Wally West came to the X Mansion. In that time they've set up a program to help mutants, working with the X-men and some sympathetic humans. The X-men are used to them now, and even warming up to their unconventional approach, with the exception of their questionable friend Mystique, who ran away months ago and hasn't been heard of since, though not all the X-men think this is a bad thing. But as they make progress, Morph begins to have things come up from his past secret life, and gets called upon to intervene in an incident that has world changing implications. Emma Frost seems to be involved, but is she the same Emma Frost they know? Or is there something more interdimensional and more sinister afoot? The answer to that will end up testing the limits of both the X-men and the DJs' endurance, and chasing the very nature of their standing in not only their world, but possibly every other world also. [This story is the sequel to the X-men First Redemptions story. It's also the last in the world walking saga as of now, the saga is (in order) World crossed, RWBY-Through Worlds, MHA Mystery from Another World, and the Naruto saga in its entirety. All of the stories build off each other and explain who Shine and Wally are and what they do. This story has canon and non canon shipping both, and some rare ships. The Dawn of X has arrived in the Marvel Universe. Xavier and his allies have founded the new mutant nation of Krakoa, promising a safe and supportive home for all mutants no matter who they are of their past crimes. Mutants have flocked to this new paradise, glad to free themselves of the hateful world they once lived in. Yet not all mutants are so eager to join this new nation, including the mercenary 'Darktruth'. But now a job has arrived at his door that will lead him to Krakoa, and force him to make a decision about what his future is going to be. Note- This is a new story starting off during the current 'Dawn of X' in the X-Men section of Marvel comics using some of my original characters. This is essentially a continuation of of fan-fiction I wrote on the old Marvel boards and more recently the Mickey's Tavern site, the latter where I've been posting this so far. It's a bit of a soft reboot, given some of these characters were left off in places that created problems for this story. I'll do my best to reintroduce all of my characters, and hopefully as I do I answer any questions for people who may have read my fan-fics before. This is an evolving story, meant for me to explore different ideas that are playing on my mind, particularly that grow from reading the comics. If this causes any inconsistencies as it goes (this is probably an ongoing story, with no set ending yet) I apologize, but will do my best to try and avoid that. Also this story will contain mature themes and events. I can't say exactly what it will contain so will give a general trigger warning, with specific ones on issues that dive into particular things. I just know I want to write a more raw story in the Marvel U, perhaps diving into things the comics can only touch upon due to their rating.
