The mountains were our home, our safe place. Nowhere else was safe for us anymore. We could survive on our own for now, but how long would it be before someone's inability to sit still put us in danger again? The war had already scarred us and it was only a matter of time before one of us were injured beyond my ability to fix. If we were to move I knew the night was our savior, because we had become creatures of the night.
