Alright, so I wrote this a few years ago and I decided to give it a read over and I am thoroughly disturbed by what I have written. I feel like it needs trigger warnings but even then I feel uncomfortable with the way I have glorified domestic abuse, depression and slave rape. I just wanted to inform whoever has been unfortunate enough to read this that I will be taking it down soon. I think I had good intentions but I was just in a bad space when I was writing this and it is not a good reflection of me at all. I apologize if this story has upset anyone.

Yet another book I've written on Google Docs. Quarantine is boring, okay? I literally just finished this today so I'm uploading this like, right away. I'm not really great at these so yeah. This is an American Revolution AU but it's not actually really the American Revolution, if that makes any sense. Inspired by @RyanThePotato's Lams, Royal Legacies, but totally different. This isn't that terribly dark, but it's a war AU, so there's going to be death and blood. Lots of blood. No gore though. My Prison Called Life (Bio 1)
This is a bio about me and what I went through as a child. You see I was abused not just by both parents but my whole family. I know you guys probably heard about all of this before but I want to write this. It will help me forget about my past and let me move on. I was suicidal and I wanted to give up but I didn't. So this is a story of what happened before Ways To Stop Bullying and after it. Journey with me when you see the hell I went through and how I made it out to be the person I am today. To be honest this is something that scares me more than anything in the world by writing this. But I want to and need to. To be warned it will get ugly and it might not look that bad to most people who probably had it worse than me. But this isn't why I'm writing this to get sympathy I'm writing this so I can finally move on and say. I done this I lived through it. I doubt anyone would read this and if they do I doubt many will but I don't care I'm writing this for me and if it helps others? I'm glad so I don't know what else to say so this is all.Complete

SOOO we obviously didn't make the deadline lol. This story is unfinished and will remain that way. This is the best example of a rushed concept with no actual plot lol. I wrote blind and hated most of what I had written. I've redesigned this concept and I'm rewriting it with a stronger concept and a laid-out plot. I will release the rewrite when it's done. Description updated as of December 4, 2020. Hey, I'm just here to let you guys know that this book is *really* old and not representative of my current writing skills. A lot of the information in this book regarding the au has changed as well, and while the main storyline/details are the same, a *large* amount of things, including a few major ones, have changed. . !!! ALSO I DO NOT SHIP POTATO AND KO !!! This fic was written in 2017, and I was 13 at the time. While it wasn't even anything I shipped at that time, either, it was only put in the story because of reader appeal. Iris Grey is an 18 year old girl who never really understood the hate towards black people. Her nanny Rosa is really the one who taught her to have a big heart seeing that her parents are never around. On the other hand, there’s Loki. He’s an Afro-America whose dad abandoned his mother a few years after his birth. Loki’s 19 years old and has to take care of his ill mother. Neither of them know that they aren’t regular humans. In fact, Iris is actually Light and Loki’s Shade. Yup, you’ve guessed it, they’re soul mates. But wait, it’s not all. There’s also these twins, Caleb and Evan Wright who are supernatural figures. Only their figure is War and so, they wish to destroy Light and plunge the whole universe in darkness. Will they succeed? What will be Shade’s choice; join the dark side and avenge his mother or help this girl he only just met? All this goes down during the fight for freedom, therefore, there’s going to be things that truly happened in history and others completely fictive. Have fun reading! :)Complete

UPDATE, A COUPLE OF YEARS LATER Hey guys, please read this bit before you read this story. This story contains descriptions of violence and needs an overall trigger warning for suicide. When I wrote the chapters for this story, I wasn't in the best state of mind and I projected that into my writing as some sort of therapy; only difference between me and other people going through depression as I was back then, is that I published mine which contributes to the romanticisation of suicide and mental illness. I didn't understand mine back then, but I do now. Please seek help if you identify with the OC. It's not healthy and damages your soul as it had mine. I am better now. I want you to be better, too. You matter. You are your own universe and your sun, you moon, your stars... don't forget that. Take care of yourself because you are important. I wish someone said that to me back then, so I am saying it to you now. I am more than happy to talk to anyone going through the same thing I went through. Fancy a bit of human meat for supper? The Underground is the best market for beast and human flesh alike. Longing for a slave to cater to your every desire? The Underground has a wide variety to choose from. Just wanting something on which to unleash your murderous intentions? The Underground won't bat an eye or bother with pesky questions. Lilith was a frequent item among the Underground. Once meant to be a contender for the throne of a small country in the human realm, she was disowned, sold in the Underground, traded, re-sold, and so-on for years until she is placed in a holding cell with a small beast child. She could only barely see his form in the dimly lit room made of stone, but she could see his green eyes glowing faintly like those of a cat looking towards a light. He spoke with a slight lisp, and his voice shook with fear when he finally began to respond to her questions. The pair form an unlikely bond that will change the course of both their lives in a way they never thought possible. Author's note: this story will contain sensitive/triggering topics, and viewer discretion is advised. Additionally, due to the time setting and manner of speech in the story, the "c-word" will be used at times to reference the female anatomy.
