Sometimes, he would hit me. Sometimes he would say he was sorry, but that was rare. He knew about my past, so I wondered why he would do it now. I also wondered why I stayed with him when he cheated, abused and taunted me. But then I knew why.

I wasn't the innocent one, either. I was so madly in love with Frank and to stubborn that I refused to leave him. So, in Frank's eyes, that was a ''go ahead and mistreat me'' card.

Well, now I'm burning that card and going to put an end to this madness.
