Love can be the death of someone.

Never fall in love with Bitter Little Maria, her touch is addictive and her kiss is deadly, you become trapped if she so much as glances at you with that forgiving sky blue gaze of hers.

She stole the breath of the first person she kissed, and not in a good way.

He was announced dead five minutes later.

But that’s alright because Death loves her.

No, he’s obsessed with her, killing every male who so much as looks at her the wrong way whilst using the body of the 1865 Lord Bray who also fell in love with Maria as punishment of killing her.

Death paid a price.

His price was that he had to harvest the souls of the recently departed for all of eternity whilst in the body of the man she chose over him, forever to be painfully reminded that she will never love him but instead Lord Bray.

Now Death has to destroy her.

The Devil told Death that once she was reincarnated from the Lady Maria Susannah Knighting-Gale he would have to harvest her at around the age he had killed her, which coincidently was age twenty.

Even worst, he's driving her insane.
