Nicki is a successful therapist with the perfect life. She is married to a wealthy lawyer Terrance. Her and Terrance met in college and got married right after graduation. They had what every couple dreamed of on the outside.

Meek use to be the king of the streets until he got locked up for 5 years. He knew nothing but the streets but was also books smart which was how he got himself out of prison sooner than he should've been. He was ready to be on the right path but he needed to bury the demons of his past.

When Nicki meets Meek she thinks it's just to help him like any other patients she encounters but what happens when Meek flips the script and Nicki is the one who's problems are brought to life.
