Miles To Go

For 18-year-old Samantha Parker, anywhere is better than where she is. Living in a small town, in an even smaller trailer is not easy, especially when your parents are junkies. Following a fight with her abusive mother, she takes off. She’s convinced that living on the road is easier than what she’s used to. But soon it grows dark and Samantha is tired, cold, and hungry.

Thankfully, an unexpected driver offers her a ride.

Samantha is picked up by hunky college freshman Blake Crawford. He doesn’t talk much and seems to be lost in his thoughts. He’s been driving across country with no agenda and Samantha can’t help but wonder what he’s running from. Until she finds it…The list. In Blake’s glove box is a list that was written by Blake’s recently deceased brother Kyle. He was stationed in Iraq and while he was there, he made a list of everything he would do when he returned home. Except he never arrived. But the list did.

It won’t be easy but it’s as clear as day to Samantha and a reluctant Blake agrees. They must complete everything on Kyle’s to-do list. They have to do it for Kyle. But they have miles to go before it’s complete. It won’t be easy. But if they trust in each other they might just make it through. The road less traveled makes all the difference.
