Meet Avery Collins, who is in grade 12. At the age of 17, she skipped grade 5 because it was too easy for her. She is the best babysitter in town; she is always getting calls because she is great with kids. At school, she is considered a nerd because of her outstanding grades and it doesn't quite help that she wears wide rimmed glasses. She has been and currently is still the girlfriend of Matt Sheek. He's a player for the school's baseball team, Altridge Tigers, for almost 2 years now. Their story is kind of cliché, like the ones you read in the books. He was in grade 9 failing algebra, whereas she was passing through with flying colours, so she ended up tutoring him and one thing led to another.

What do you think will happen when something, I mean, someone introduces themselves?

"'Bye.' I say after Edwin's kiss. He gives me a small smile that honestly looks more like a grimace. It makes me a little uncomfortable having him kiss me in the library. Edwin walks away, and someone standing in the corner of my vision makes me turn in my seat. A tall, muscular man is standing there, his arms crossed, staring at me. He's got dark brown hair, perfect eyebrows, and soft brown eyes. Honestly, he's gorgeous. And since I've read, and edited, about five articles about him, I recognize him immediately. Dane Sawyer. He's the best pitcher on our baseball team. He's hoping to go pro, although I'm not totally sure what the process is surrounding that, since I don't retain much of the information from the articles that I read about him. I know that he's also a junior, and that his girlfriend is hot as fuck. I've seen them together on campus. They're hard to miss because they are easily one of the most attractive couples that I've ever seen. I'm convinced that I must be hallucinating, because he makes eye contact and walks towards me. 'That was awkward.'" ~~~ Junior year is starting off chaotic for Mackenzie Brooks as she steps into her role as the editor-in-chief of the college's newspaper. She's smart, focused on school, the paper, and her TA responsibilities. Junior year should be starting off easy for Dane Sawyer. He's the star pitcher of the baseball team; attractive, athletic, desirable, with a hot girlfriend. Unfortunately, he's also failing computer science which is the one thing he sees that is in the way of his pro career. Different in more ways that one, when the two run into each other in the library, it's an immediate disaster. But when Dane convinces Mackenzie to be his tutor, both of their lives begin to change.

♡ His gaze was deep, deeper than the purest oceans, fixated on my every move, making me squirm under the heat. If it were not for my helplessness, I would have never even been here in the first place. But yes, I needed his help before it was too late and my grades and the ground-level were equally at height. So I was expecting him to be cocky, make a huge deal out of him. But I was definitely not expecting what stumbled out of his mouth. ❝Okay, I'll tutor you Brown. But you also have to agree to what I say,❞ he said as his lips twitched upwards into his infamous signature smirk. ❝And what is that may I ask?❞ I asked him as I crossed my arms against my chest. ❝You have to be my friend,❞ he said, the little smirk vanishing, and in its place was a smile I wasn't used to. ♡ When something terrible happens in the life of the 'Nerd Of the School', a title she earned back in the middle school, Cadence Brown is shaken. Her focus from her ultimate goal; studies is disturbed. She wants to get back in line and concentrate again on her studies but is unable to, because of the constant plaguing of her self deprecating thoughts. Nolan Moore is the scary, broody bad boy everyone was afraid of. His name is enough the send an uncomfortable shiver down one's spine. Despite having rugged looks, the girls are too scared to flirt with him and the guys, definitely don't want to mess with him, risking to break a bone or two. But deep inside the bad boy facade was a guy who is a nerd, someone who scores really well. ♡ When circumstances force Nolan to tutor Cadence, he jumps at the opportunity and a new friendship is bloomed. ♡ Warning: Do not read this book. It has many typos. Though I am a Grammar Nazi, I am a human first and hence the mistakes! Read at your own risk! The book gets better after 10

COMPLETED✅ When uni student Talia Herera finally finds it in herself to break up with her shitty boyfriend Tim, Oscar Atkins -Volleyball star- at their uni, finds his way into her chaotic life, to show her how she should've been treated all along. ~The colors sage green and lavender purple, upon first glance, those two couldn't be found on the same side of the spectrum, at least not, theoretically. How about we test the theory metaphorically?~ ❣️❣️❣️ "Why're you mad Oscar, is it because it sucks to have my sloppy seconds?" Comes out an all too familiar voice. I freeze in step at the realization. "I dare you to say that again" There's some shuffling, it's clear to conclude they're on the verge of a fight. Sierra faces me, squeezing my hand "Come on" She has a serious expression on her face. I gulp and continue my footsteps. "Hey, Tim" I call up for him. His eyes nearly fall out of their sockets as they bulge out while turning to face me. He surely didn't expect me to show up from thin air. I approach him warily, nevertheless confidently, everyone's eyes following my every move. "You know, I really did want our breakup to be as civilized as possible. Though it seems like people never learn. Oh, and by the way, you were shitty in bed. Every orgasm I had, I had to fake so you can get it over with" I confess and the guys are trying to hold in their laughs and snickers at my statement; hardly succeeding. . . . ❣️❣️❣️ *I don't own any of the pictures used, they belong to their rightful owners. *contains cursing. *contains mature themes. -Dual perspective #2 in YoungAdult #2 in jealousy #1 in sportromance #6 in college #2 in volleyball #2 in collegeromance #2 in friendstolovers #8 in enemiestolovers #51 in romance #12 in teenfiction #5 in teenromance #1 in bestfriend

Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. Either you're not extremely smart, so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. Or you are smart and you just pretend to be dumb so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. All her life Avery Skinner has been told what to do and how to do it- by everyone. By her mother, the girls she calls friends, the guys in school, teachers, family, even Mark the mailman. Needless to say, she's sick of it. Its time Avery took control of her life or at least get a firm grip on the sucker. She's loved football ever since she was a little girl. Yet she could never play because ladies aren't supposed to do such barbaric things. Especially in the South- unless its a rodeo and you're wearing those ridiculously tight outfits that show you're navel or showing you can hold your liquor. Avery has longed to be on the field, throwing the ball instead of cheering on the team her dad coaches that can't seem to win. Then her best friend Austin forces Avery to and for sometime everyone is fooled. But the truth can only be hidden for so long. The moment the townsfolk of Stonehenge, Alabama learned it was a girl under that helmet, was the moment true colors showed. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be. There will be hard moments, but I want to put it out there because it IS a serious problem. Harsh language and such will be present. You have been warned, don't read it then complain. She believed that she will never get that happily ever after that the books she read has led her to believe. But when the BadBoy of Wyns High noticed the school's biggest outcast, will that spark the fire to her happy ever after?
