Fantasy? Adventure? Character study? It's difficult to classify it in any simple genre. This is a book of adapted obscure fantasy monsters. There's still time to add in more obscure monsters... Leave a comment if you have a favorite.
The main character is Ro, a trogiodyte. Trogiodyes are adapted versions of the cave-dwelling troglodyte. Ro herself is a bit of an odd one... If there's anything you're expecting to get out of this story, I certainly hope it's not typical archetypes.
Or dragons. There are no dragons.

Hostage. Prisoner. What ever you wish to call it. They won't let me nor my friends leave. Taken by a cannibalistic family and claimed I was being adopted into their family. I already have a family of my own. And what of my friends that's with me? They're the main course. In the little town of Norbury, Canada, there have been several people disappearing without a trace. A couple of my colleagues and I decided to do a news article and discover the reasons for all the missing people. However I never realized the horrors that would await us in the quiet little town. The town is not a real place in Canada, I just made it up. This is my first story ever so if I have grammar mistakes PLEASE CORRECT ME!!!
