  Levi Ackerman is a criminal from the Underground, and he is determined to make a life for him and his friends above ground. He is willing to go to any lengths to accomplish this, even taking another man's life. However, he never expected to become a member of the Survey Corps. He never expected to be taking orders from a man he wanted to kill- had to kill. And he never expected to fall in love.
  
  Verena Adler is a dedicated member of the Scouts, and she is determined to destroy the titans. She has seen friends being eaten, squad members crushed, and fellow soldiers swallowed alive. She's faced 15 meter class titans, and has narrowly escaped death time and time again. However, she must face her greatest challenge when she meets new and mysterious recruit, Levi Ackerman, a man who she cannot seem to get her mind off of.
