"Why are you still talking to him?" Josh asked me as he paced the room.
"His daughter loves me to death, and I love her too. She thinks I'm her mama, and that's how we're going to keep it." He stopped pacing, and looked at me.
"That's not your fucking child. Your child is with his father, and Heaven needs to be with her mama." I shook my head no.
"I am her mother, and if you feel as though you don't like it you're welcomed to leave. I was doing just fine without you, and I'll be even finer without you."
Which was true. I don't need a man to make me happy. I was happy being alone, and I can continue to be like that.
"So what are you saying?" He asked me as he approached me.
