Ever since the war, Percy Jackson hasn't been doing what you'd call... fine exactly.

The memories, nightmares, and monsters were bad enough. But all the while when the son of Poseidon had been gone, his step father picked up drinking addiction and abuse. He lost his job. But that didn't stop him.

Now facing those problems at home his average C grade, impressive considering his disorders, have suddenly dropped to an F, throwing his teachers off. He knew the material. He listened in class. But he wouldn't deliver the homework.

Although he's not okay doesn't mean he shows it. Without a friend in school and now the stupid of 11th grade Goode High, Percy refuses to show, to talk to anyone about it. His mother remains clueless, he won't even tell Annabeth, the love of his life. Or Grover, his best friend always.

With school now out for summer he has to face another three months at Camp Half-Blood. What he thought would be easy, turned into a war.
