"Why are you following me?! Stay away from me!" I yelled at him. "Gabrielle, Why would i stay away from you? I'm not following you Gabi. I'm protecting you." Colton said. "Just because I'm a nerd! Doesn't mean I'm weak!" I yelled again. "Just because I'm the football captain and a jerk doesn't mean i can't fall inkove with you! God dammit!" He yelled this time. I stared at him with shock. "Inlove? with me? You didn't even notice me." I said. "Notice you?! Your the one who didn't notice me! I was the one who keep you away from the bullies! I was the one who brought you flowers and put it in your locker! But still you didn't notice me!" He yelled. "Why would a guy like you love me? A guy like you never notice me." I said. "I always notice you. Your different, inside and out Gabi. I'm inlove with you." He said while looking into my eyes. A tear slip oit of my eye. He's inlove with me.

As I walk into the school, he spots me and immediately starts talking to me. I brush past him, ignoring him, but today is definitely not my lucky day... He grabs my arm firmly, stopping me, and turns me to face him. The pain on my face contorts his expression. "What's wrong, Emma? Lost your voice, lizard?" I don't look at him; my head is hung low once again. "When I'm talking, you need to look at me!" he shouts, lifting my chin so I have to meet his gaze. I look at him, but it's not with innocence; it's with anger. "Oh, look, Emma's angry, everyone!" he mocks. "Just leave me alone," I say, meeting his eyes as I pull my arm free from his grip and walk away. He stares at me, shocked, as do all the kids around us, not expecting what I just did.
