Everyone knows who the Weasleys are. Molly and Arthur Weasley and their seven children: Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron and Ginny. But...what about the eighth child?

Evelyn Jane Weasley doesn't fit in. She's half Veela, and she's not ginger-haired or freckled. She doesn't wear glasses. She looks nothing like a Weasley. And the truth is because she's not. She's adopted. Now, some may think that it's great, because she has a home and a family. But the reason behind her adoption keeps her up every night. She can still hear their screams...she can still hear her cackling as she stared at their lifeless bodies...

Evie has been in love with Fred Weasley since she was six. He's funny, likable, and everything else she'd want in a guy. But the problem is, that to him, she's his little sister. He'll never notice her. But when she receives an extremely mysterious love note in her Herbology book, she knows her life will change. But who'll be at the end of the puzzle? Will her wildest dreams come true? Or will it all be a massive disappointment?

I've omitted certain conversations because I don't feel they concern Evie or are of any importance to her or the plot of my fanfiction.

OK, I know I'm rubbish at descriptions, but please don't judge a book by its cover. This is only my first story, so there will be plot holes and confusing things and etc- please pm me or comment your questions and corrections.
