Can't Help It (M.E) [HIATUS]

"Why are you avoiding me?" He yelled angrily as he yanked me back by my elbow.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I shrugged and yanked my elbow back.

"You've been avoiding me all month! What are yo- stop tha- look at me." He snapped annoyed as I whistled and avoided eye-contact.

"Look at me, Za." He deadpanned.

"It's Zoë to you, and no thanks, I'd like to keep my sight." I scoffed as he glared at me.

"What happened to us? We were perfect..." His eyes softened as he trailed off.

"We were-" His eyes lit up, "Until you became an ass." They dropped again.

"Cheated on me." He grimaced.

"Hurt me." He flinched.

"And crushed me without even hesitating." He looked lost.

"You're right Matthew, we were perfect. But that's what happened..." I spat and turned to walk away. I'm surprised he hasn't covered up his feelings yet, he always does by acting like he doesn't car-

"Oh c'mon! What is it gonna take for you to call me Matt?" He whined.

And I spoke too soon.
