People see where she lives, her parents, her clothes, all her stuff and immediately think her life is perfect. It never was though. Her mom had left her and her dad for 5 years. The stress made her dad turn into a huge drug user and alcoholic. He would abuse her when she wouldn't give him her money for drugs or just simply hit her when he wanted to. The addiction got so bad he would start selling her body for money to get drugs . Her mom heard about it and went to get her. Marilla now lives with her mom and her boyfriend in the rich side of town. She's shy but she's known for her outburst and anger. But things aren't what they seem in the inside. Her mom abuses her. Mostly mentally but sometimes physically. Her mom makes her thinks she's incapable of love until she meets ash. He changed her perspective of herself and helps her through the hard times. The only way to fight such a disease is through the power of will. Only the will to survive can best the disease, causing it to slowly go away as the body fights back. As the victim wants to survive and fights the disease, the better chance they have. But, everyone who has caught the disease gives up hope, and dies a slow and brutal death. This disease is known as Stigma X, or STX. Meet Ashley Reynolds, an 18 year-old girl, who is a senior in high school. Ashley comes from a family who grants her nothing but misery, and hates her very existence. When Ashley caught the disease at the end of her freshman year, the rejoicing coming from Ashley's family caused her heart to falter, and soon found herself welcoming death. For her senior year, Ashley moves into her aunts mansion in order for Ashley to live the life every child deserves. There, Ashley encounters new friends and a guy who has changed her outlook on life.
