On a dark, rainy night, Roma Scott ended up at the house of the mysterious Viktor Avan, her only relationship with him being as a meaningless one night stand. The next morning, having revealed more than she would have liked, Roma confides in Viktor, believing him to be a stranger she will never see again. 

Ira Hudson is an elusive man, with a checkered and fractured past. Dark and good looking, Ira is subject to the scrutiny of many admiring females.  However, his heart is lost to the one girl he never believes he will see again.

Coming closer to finding Roma, Ira begins to think he has a chance of finding her. But things are not as they seem, as one man threatens to remove Roma from Ira's grasp permanently. 

Will Ira ever see Roma again? Or is he too late?

This is a story of love, betrayal and darkness, and facing up to the violent past which lies within some of us.
