"Maya's missing." Cory choked out. He told the class on Monday morning, and by Tuesday, there were already rumors. They were told she had run away, but the students had other ideas, and the ideas were spread as facts instead of stories. And something wasn't right. There wasn't investigation. There wasn't a single news report. They told Riley that they sent out a search party, but she hadn't gotten results. It was Wednesday now, and Maya had been missing for 5 days already.
