When a child is born their soulmate is known by their name and status inked on the babies wrist. He Who Loves Another
Everyone has returned to Hogwarts for their 8th year however everything's a bit different. Post war has been very difficult for people so young, including their petty rivalry still ongoing towards students of different houses. The Slytherins, once holding their heads high and grabbing attention in every room now hang their heads low, desperate to turn invisible in the crowds. Even students recently sorted into the house are being targeted and bullied. The golden trio have none of it- protecting (certain) Slytherin from the harrows of hormonal teenage rage and war fuelled anger. Not just this; the 8th years have reached an age of maturity where their underlying bloodline of magical creatures have awoken. Their entire family bloodline share the same creature, however, the 3 hierarchical categories of Dominant, Beta, and Submissive aren't traditionally passed down. This is where the worry emerges. Traditionally, 'pure bloods' are sectored into the Dominant position while it's more of a guessing game with muggle borns and mixed heritage. Though, no one could ever be sure.
