Getting a drink of water, Layla hears unfamiliar voices, she knows they may be thieves, but how did they get in?
No time to think. she's on the mission to protect her home. She sees someone come through the window of the room next to the kitchen. She hides behind the room doorway, and watches the thieves looking for something.
'What will they find in the living room?.. Idiots' she mutters to herself. The thieves caught her voice and as soon as she tries to make a run for it, she's caught, knocking the table over at the same time. All the commotion brought her parents downstairs and saw that she was caught in the thief arms. The thief holding a knife to the girl's neck, whispers to her "I will come and get you later, but not now! If you tell your family, it will be the end of your life and theirs! Be ready!" The thieves run away, before her family caught them. Police were called, but found no one.

She's been terrified since day one
No one has come

But then Rhea saw light imprints of blood on the glass door under the dusty layer. ************************************ This book basically contains short horror stories of my own imagination. We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me.
