On the space station Coliseum, William fights his way through the gauntlet only it isn’t just a game anymore. The next time he tries, he may not make it out alive. This is a science fiction story with some fantasy elements. I actually based this on some nightmares I had when I was younger.

GLaDOS awakens
"Boot up initiated" a male voice said, showing no emotions. Suddenly as if someone turned on the lights [They] could see something. A room. The only thing they could see was a window in front of them. People dressed like scientists stood behind the window. ------- A story staring GLaDOS as it's main character. It will not be canon GLaDOS though. If anyone finds any grammatical mistakes, feel free to tell me about them. Also seeing how things are going for now, it will be a slow progression story. Well at least from my point of view. Not quite sure what you guys' standards are. (Note: All images used in the story or as cover are not mine unless stated otherwise. In case you're wondering, I'm still mad at you.
(Disclaimer, just in case you didn't know, most of these characters are not mine and are from the Portal Universe owned by Valve. There are also a couple of characters from a mod called Portal Stories Mel, which you should check out if you like Portal 2, it's free on Steam.) Not long after Wheatley finds his way back from the moon, he goes to find Chell. The first thing she does when they meet is slap him. Wheatley's not appalled, in fact, he feels he quite deserves it. When he realizes that life on the outside of Aperture isn't as easy as he had originally thought, Chell's heart is softened a little, and so they start living together. The tension is thick at first but mellows down a bit as their relationship goes on. Base used is made by @/ImInQuarantine on Pixilart.

Subject 3281; Chell's Story
Test. That was what she did, and Subject 3281 did it well. She was the model subject, fit, strong, on time, and most of all... obedient. That's how she was, until one fateful day, when the higher-ups at Aperture Science figured that they could get more out of their testing if two subjects were present, and so launched the "Aperture Science Co-operative Testing Initiative", pairing Subject 3281 with another Test subject. A boy. A boy who forced Subject 3281 to re-think her complacency, to yearn for freedom as they all did. To begin thinking like the girl she had been; instead of the person she had become. ~----------------------------------~ So, I was writing a short story one day, and realized that--with a bit of tweaking--this could turn into a Portal 2 fan-fic! While I do believe that Blue Sky is the BEST fan-fic for Portal 2 out there, and deserves to be canon, I think that this is still a relatively believable Chell backstory. (This is set after Cave Johnson's death, and before Caroline/GLaDOS killed everyone but the test subjects with neurotoxin, and placed Chell in stasis.) Enjoy! This is not a Chelley fan-fic, and doesn't include Wheatley, as this is set prior to the timeline of the first game. I don't own Portal, Portal 2, or the characters in the game; but this story is my own, from my imagination. The coliseum is a strange place where winners can have anything they want. They can become wealthy. They can study. They can become stronger and faster than they ever were. This is all of course dependent on if they can survive. George must see if he has what it takes to become a King in this place. He must see if he can rise above the greatest fighters in history. He must do all of this while trying to understand what the coliseum is and why they were all brought there.Complete
