An experimental sense heightening substance called "The Super Effect" due to that fact that it gives you temporary superhero-like powers has been banned by the government. Now evil scientist Dr.Übel wants to get his hands on it and has smuggled the drug into the country disguised as bubblegum.
What happens when the only pack of The Super Effect gum is accidentally added into circulation and a teenager buys it when he takes an alternative route home from school? What about when he shares it with his best friend and they are tracked across the country by Dr.Übel's henchmen and the U.S. Government?
