Eleanor McCartney is a normal sixteen year old. Except for the fact that she can shape shift. Into any animal she thinks of. Her best friend knows everything but that's not her biggest problem. 
Jack Richards is the captain of the soccer team. He's cute, sweet and not extremely popular to where its annoying. Just the way she likes it. Eleanor gets excited when she is paired with him for an assignment but then he gets suspicious when things start to go wrong with her power.

So, just a disclaimer. This is an old story I wrote for my four best friends back in middle school and I wasn't very good (I'm still not that good). I've tweaked it a bit but the plot is still the same. One of my friends, who's in the book, has asked me to put this up along with the sequel for some time now. So, yeah. Enjoy. Oh! And also, the cover is just using cats to symbolize my friends and I. The book isn't actually about cats. Also, the chapters are really short. --------- I've always dreamt of going on some amazing adventure with my friends but I never thought it would actually happen. One day, I'm just working on science homework and the next I'm in the Amazon forest with my four best friends on a mission. Not to mention, animals are disappearing more and more every day. This ought to be interesting.

Although she knows she knows at least one of the guys in her nightmare, she can't recognize him. She doesn't have much time to think about the nightmares though: she is the princess of her country. On top of that, she meets a golden retriever in the forest who seems to be attached to her immediately and the guy she has a crush on suddenly decides to take an interest in her, but he's not the only one. Another guy seems to follow her every step. Hate turns into love and love into hate when the guys aren't what she first thought they were. She has to make decisions while her situation isn't clear yet. The questions keep piling up and only a few are answered. Like why hasn't she had her first shift to her animal form yet, although everyone her age has? Why does she care about someone she thinks she hates? Long story short: drama, drama, and once again, drama. Will Louise be able to find out what she is, and what she wants?

However things got changed, when a large yet dangerous flood started to rise up due to it's melting ice from the hot summer and all the animals are started to worried and scared. In order to get the animals safety, they must headed to the large boat so that they can survived but they only have 3 days to reach it or else, they'll die. Manny, Sid, Diego and Eleanor must headed to the boat before it's too late. Soon later, they found themselves a new animals and...Humans; A Female Mammoth who thinks she's an opossum, An Opossum twin brothers, An Elk deer, A Cave bear, A weasel siblings, A grey wolf and a 6 humans who have a gifted powers to protect their friends. Now, it's up to them to get to the boat but Manny only found himself that he's in love at first and Eleanor develop a friendship with the humans who she thinks she may be the last human in the world. Ashlynn Johnson, however, couldn't care less about him. Ash, as her friends more affectionately call her, is more focused on soccer than anything. It's Harper that really matters. Our protagonist is a 16 year old orphan with two main goals in mind, free the trapped people within the facility, and solve all of the secrets it holds. This story contains mystery, major gore themes, sad moments, and possibly slight hints of romance(?) Will everyone make it to embrace freedoms loving arms? Or will there have to be some sacrifices in the process?
