Bardden used to be a farm dog. His house and farm burned down, and his family died in the fire. Now he lives with a new family, nice enough, but they don't understand him. All he has from his old and peaceful life now are memories, and nightmares. When a girl, a cousin of one of the children in his new family, comes to stay, they form an unlikely friendship. Will Willa help Bardden overcome his fears? Find out in 'Mottled: A farm dog'
**This story is in loving memory of my dog, Buddy, who survived a bushfire, and is now scared of fire and smoke. (Please note; even though I say in loving memory, he is still alive, don't worry!)

1 month ago i found a dog in the middle of the street. 1 month ago, he became my best friend. 1 month ago, he became my closest companion. Dylan is Fine. Completely Fine. With a capital F. That is, until, his mother, for some reason, taken in her godson who'd gotten kicked out of his house to make Dylan 'feel better'.
