Time period is the near future. Demons, bad-souls, spirits, and good-souls have begun to interweave with the mortals. Meister’s and their weapons were created to protect the mortals from the bad-souls – Raptures – and the Demons. The Spirits and good-souls – the Luminescent’s – are sadly caught in the middle, with nowhere to really go. It is the job of the Meisters and their Weapons to defend the mortals, and keep the Luminescent's and Spirits on the right track.
