Casannah Royals is a beautiful 17 year old girl that always seems to have a terrible time in school. You would think it was probably for the usual stuff like the fact that she was a science nerd and bookworm, right? Nope, it was simply because she was somewhat different from the other students. Her clothes, hair, and taste in music or style was what set her apart from them. She doesn't necessarily fit into any clique and she's okay with that. After all, social status doesn't matter, right? Or at least, it doesn't to her. Being alone has it's highs like no getting caught in the middle of bullcrap drama. But then again, it also has it's lows like having no one to lean on in rough times. You see, Royals' life isn't as glamorous as she thought it'd be when she was just starting middle school. She gets bullied at school by the preps, her almost-always drunken mother tends to find Casannah a disgraced mistake that must be punished for her father's death, her best friend abandoned her, and her only friend is a sharp piece of metal. But then she meets someone named Sabriel Martinez. She just wants to find a way to live a better life and be free but then again, devils don't fly do they?

(Before You Leave #1) She was sent to boarding school over the smallest of mistakes... Okay, burning down your schools gym might have been a big one. But she didn't mean to do it. This time. And she's certainly no snitch. She's had a fine life. But she wanted something more. And so she created chaos. She was misjudged and misunderstood. And now she's the havoc of Birchwood Prep. They call her the devil's bitch, the principal's worst nightmare, and a screwed up whore. They can think what they want, JJ Ashton has heard these all throughout high school. She doesn't want a future, she just wants to take control of now. She's everything Birchwood Prep doesn't want, but is deemed to get after her Father decided it was the only option for her to find some discipline. She's not going to make it that easy for them. Gideon Andrews is the perfect student. Good grades, never missed a day, and never had been in trouble of any sort. He thinks life is great, but meeting JJ, she thinks life for him could be better. Less plain and vanilla. He hates her guts. It's mutual for her as well. But the headmaster has made it Gideon's personal mission to get her back on track and into a better life. She's allowed two screw ups, has to join a sports team, pass all of her classes with at least a C and get some friends before the year is over, or she will be held back. And she's not about to go another year in the hellhole called high school. (Marked mature for language and brief talk about sex.) *Still editing parts/making corrections* (Sequel is called: When I Stay)
