Tranquil Darkness

Clary Shay figured her life would always be filled with quiet days, reading enough books to swell her brain to ginormous proportions, swimming in the ocean until she was more wrinkly than her grandmother-who she adores, and spending her nights dreaming of a boy with deep green eyes, someone she's never seen in person, but feels so deeply connected to in her dream state. She is in love with a man who doesn't exist. A figment of her imagination. When she let's it slip to her grandmother that she's been seeing someone frequently in her dreams, she panicks and tells her not to see him anymore. She doesn't understand, but she refuses to stop seeing him. She can't help it. He says they can be together, if she would just remember. But remember what?
