After a year of happy marriage, things seem to be going downhill for Scott and Mitch. A castatrophic accident has left Esther Kaplan dead and Avi Kaplan hopelessly depressed. Seeing their bassist so badly traumatised causes all of the members of Pentatonix to suffer, and it's hard for them to optimistic throughout these hard times.
But when Scott and Mitch find a small child alone and abandoned on the street, will this lost kid somehow turn things around for Pentatonix?
