Raine Everlast, the heir to two packs of werewolves, lives her life unbeknownst to the supernatural world that rules her.

A red target is painted on her forehead when Tenebris Sicarius, a dark-haired killer, decides to put himself in the crosshairs just to save Raine's hide from the powers of the Downworld. Tenebris's lapse of character remains a mystery, but one thing presents itself as basic fact: Supernatural forces govern Raine's world, and without Tenebris's help, they could take her life...
