Terror-stricken and helpless, Gotham City is a modern-day, suburban super city that is infested with criminals, drugs and filth. On the verge of bankruptcy, and with very few residents that continue to stay in the city, Gotham seems to be at a low point. Emerging from the shadows is a vigilante, one dressed like a bat. The self-proclaimed "Batman" fights criminals and anything illegal dressed in a carbon fiber, Kevlar suit. Now equipped with a trusty sidekick Robin, Batman seems to be becoming famous. Batman and Robin seem to be a symbol of hope for some, but just costumed freaks for others. Months after the first appearance of Batman, Shadow of the Bat details Batman and Robin's first real supervillain encounter ... and how they created him. A new crime boss arrives in Gotham, calling himself The Joker. A ruthless murderer, The Joker dons a purple suit and clown makeup. Gotham is now higher in crime and drug consumption than before the time of Batman. As The Joker recruits more people to join his side in a proclaimed "War on Gotham", Batman and Robin must fight through the criminal ranks, and use all the skills in their bodies to save Gotham for the first time . . . and definitely not the last.

FULL STORY PUBLISHED. The city bleeds beneath the flicker of broken streetlights, Whispers echo through concrete veins.. Of monsters built in labs. Of kings crowned in crime, Of a darkness even the night won't claim. And above it all, two shadows move. One-a man forged in grief and fire, wearing armor and silence like scripture. The other-a boy born from rubble and ash, his fists quiet, his rage sharper than steel. The world calls them Batman and Robin. Ghosts in capes.. storms without thunder. A father and son not by blood, but by the war they wage. And as venom stains the alleys, as chaos sharpens its knives, they descend once more into the city that made them. Crime doesn't sleep, The night doesn't vanish and give people hope after the sun touches their skin. The heroes of Gotham give that hope. In darkness..and in light. I do not own the rights to the characters in this story of course but Ash Calder, Adrian Locke, Dante Creed and The Gotham Panther who shows once in the story, are original characters with my own ideas and their own backstories that I've created. This universe is not directly based on any specific Batman universe, It has hints of inspiration from other Batman works but ultimately its ideas I've thought of, even if something is in the story that's already been done, It's hard to do something new with these characters when there's so much out about them already, there's years of comic, live action, animated and fan iterations of the universe so it's genuinely hard to think of new events to put the character or characters through, That's why the absolute Batman universe has been getting so much love because of how different it is and how new it is because nobodies done anything with Batman's character or the universe like the creators of the Absolute Batman universe.Concluida
Batman: The Jester and The Queen
The fourth installment in Ben's Batman series. When his parents were gunned down in front of him, young Bruce Wayne resolved to rid Gotham City of the criminal element that took their lives. He trained to achieve mental and physical perfection; in addition to mastering the martial arts, detective techniques, and criminal psychology. Dressing as a bat to prey on criminals' fears, he fought crime with the aid of specialized gadgets and vehicles, operating out of the secret Batcave down below Wayne Manor. When Joker's influenced madness ensues onto Gotham and the shortage of neceessary supplies diminishes, it is up to Batman and the boy wonder, Robin to end Joker's reign of terror and protect the city at all costs. As the insanity decreases, a threat emerges from the romantic relationship between Joker and his gal that spews up returning tension into Gotham. With the stakes much higher than ever before, Batman must now test his wits, vulnerability, and awakened emotions to a bitter degree as the Clown Prince of Crime and the hormonal Jester toy with his intellectual mind. Gotham City: the definition of crime. The mob, gangs, and organized crime had dominated the streets. The police are mere annoyances to the law breakers in the town, as they have not had Gotham in control for decades. That is until a hero arrives. Or rather, a vigilante. Bruce Wayne is a billionaire who has personally seen and lost so much of the crime in this city, having had his parents murdered in front of him as a child. Using his feat of bats as an inspiration, Bruce soon dawned the name of "Batman" and became the one thing to stop criminals I'm the city, bringing hope in fear.
