Those are words Lily Shield has been hearing a lot, especially from her closest friends. Too many secrets seem to be floating around her existence as well as those around her. But that's to be expected when she's trying to crack the case of a mysterious shadow that spies over what seems like every word said. After the investigation progresses, Lily begins to realize that a spy, often a motive to kill, has infiltrated a safe house for her: the agency. And as things progress further, Lily discovers that the person behind all of this might be closer to her than she thought.

Detective Freen stood at the entrance of the Armstrong mansion, her eyes scanning the opulent foyer. The crystal chandelier refracted the morning light, casting a kaleidoscope of colors on the marble floor. But Freen's gaze wasn't on the lavish decor; it was on the body lying on the floor. Becky Armstrong, the heiress to the Armstrong fortune, knelt beside her parents' lifeless bodies, her eyes vacant and her face pale. Freen's heart went out to the young woman, but she knew she had to remain professional. "What happened here?" Freen asked, her voice firm but gentle. Becky looked up, her eyes locking onto Freen's.
