Dreaming of being a mermaid is normal when you are a child, but that is something 17 year old Rose never found herself growing out of.

 It's Summer and Rose has promised her friend that is going away to college soon that the two of them would go on a road trip. They decide where to go by throwing a dart at a map, and through the guiding hand of destiny they are headed to caved lakes near Miami Beach.
