Compared to the glamorized reputation given to assassins, Grace Romanov can safely say that it's a very far stretch between reality and our Hollywood fantasy. In 1939, while on a mission as part of the Agency's plan for an eventual dominion over Europe and its counterparts, Grace is bound to a chair in the Middle of Syria, while the Germans are cooking up something deadly sinister. After loosing her sister and both parents at the tender age of fourteen, the Russian native is stolen from her Moscow home and transported into the hectic world of political warfare. Moulded into a weapon by her handlers, she is used as a tool of elimination for anyone in the way of the Agency. Threatened by the German's plans, Grace must take up an unlikely ally to stop the outbreak of another great global conflict, and seek personal redemption on the way.

One day while visiting him at his labs they got into an argument over a pencil. She ran away upset and the next thing you knew her father was on the ground, bleeding. Someone killed him. But they weren't aiming for him. They wanted to kill Grace. She went on the run. She withdrew all the money he left her and backpacked around New York for a couple months until she bought an apartment. When Grace was 15, credited with over 32 kills, she was targeted at the apartment so she took her back packing to the sewers and now lives a double live as Grace Firewinter and the superhero Raphael.Complete
