Nineteen year-old Hannah D'ettore is a librarian at the local library. She's one of the few humans in town, but is well liked by the weres who know her.
Six year-old Lily is a regular at the library. Hannah had taken a particular liking to Lily, because the little girl is such a sweetheart and is always alone when she visits the library.
Daniel Beckett, at the age of twenty-two, is preparing to take his place as the next Alpha of the Roaring Moon pack. After a bad bout of rogue attacks, his parents force him to accompany his little sister, Lily to the library.
