The other realms suspected Thranduil of being embittered by Saurons return, the growing darkening of his kingdom and the domination of Shelob's children beneath the canopy of his forest. Nothing could've been further from the truth. There was another reason why Thranduil grew bitter and isolated. A reason no one dared to speak about. And as people stopped talking about it, memories faded, got twisted and turned, until dozens of versions left people confused. They had forgotten Thranduils love for life, for his kingdom. The memories fell into extinction and people no longer remembered. Except for Thranduil. This is the story of Thranduil and the memories he hid in the depths of his soul.
