I Can Leave (an SAO fanfic)

So apparently everyone else stuck in SAO can't log out but as I look in my menu I can see a log out button. I press the button and I wake up in my room at home. I try again by reconnecting and I still see a log out button. I decide to keep this hidden from the other players but I'm going to tell the world about our lives in the game and to get all the players into hospitals so that they can live when they are trapped in the game too long.
What do I do? I have the creator help me art up a system where the game lets me log out hidden the when I log back in I go back to the same floor I was on but away from everyone. I hate siding with the enemy for things like this.
