Kaitlyn Taylor has just graduated high school and thought her only worry over the summer was having to move out of her parents house to the college dorms. So far she had been spending time with her family and boyfriend, Dax, trying to attend a few of his baseball games here and there. But then out of nowhere an unknown number keeps pestering her and saying they know things about her past. Eventually she messages them back and learns about her childhood she had forgotten, or at least what they're saying to her. Before she leaves for college she has to decide if she really wants to learn about her childhood she doesn't remember and if she trusts the boy on the other side of the phone.

Kaitlyn just wanted to fit in, but Jason made everything hard. In freshman year, he poured water on her. In sophomore year, he made everyone hate her. In junior year, he realized that all he ever wanted... was her. Would Jason win her heart or would he finally realize that the only girl he ever loved would leave him just like his dad left his mom. .... "I told you to leave me alone, Jason. Why can't you take the hint?" I interrupted him. "Please Kaitlyn, one more chance. Please." "Why?" Jason looked at me. His eyes showed hurt. Good. He made me hurt for so long, now it's his turn. "You want to know the reason. I can't get you out of my head. You're like a drug I am addicted to. Kaitlyn, I'm in love with you." With that, he kissed me.
