Shadow- She is a 36 year old divorced mother of 2. She is a Librarian, and sits in a stuffy library all day. She dreams of finding a man like in her books. Sadly she thinks all men are the same. Her husband left her once she gained weight. He ran off with a woman in her 20's that's a size 2. It killed Shadow's self-esteem. So when a new night club opens across from her library, and she gets a look at the hunky owner she plans on staying far away.
Ryder- He is 29 and just opened a night club. His father gave each of his son's money to open a business. He wasn't happy about Ryder's choice, but he is trying to be open minded about it. Ryder went to all the business around his to introduce himself. He didn't know what to expect when he went into the stuffy library. He didn't expect to meet Shadow. She was beautiful. She defiantly was what fantasies are made of. Can he melt the ice around her heart long enough for her to give him a try?

"Oh my God, Zara," he whispered, taking a good look at me. The insecurity managed to break through my amorousness. "I knew you were a beautiful woman, but damn, you're about to kill me with those curves." "I..." I wrapped my arms around chest, feebly trying to shield myself from his stare. Shame churned within my stomach. "I-Is that a bad thing?" "No, it's a very good thing." Gently, he pushes my arms away so I can't hide myself anymore. I sighed as his fingers drew little lines along the curves of my hips. "Almost makes we wish I was a race car driver so I could fully appreciate them."
