Caitlyn Blanche Whitewall, or Cat, is one of those girls who work hard for what they want, and look good doing it. Known for her "ice-cold beauty", she's second in her class, best at sports and is admired by everyone around her. She just has one secret that she must hide: she looks like a "feral, rabid naked mole-rat" whenever her lips part. Because of this, she keeps her distance, and speaks to her classmates very stoically. But these actions just solidify her 'ice-cold beauty" status in the year level. She is perfectly happy being detached from her fellow classmates and would like to keep it that way. So far, no one has seen her smile wide enough or talk loud enough for her secret to be exposed.
Gavin James Ralph Greymasters III is at the top of the class, star soccer player, a total catch, class president and class clown to boot! Ever since they were little, he has always been the top of everything, and is the most admired person in the school. But all that doesn't seem to bother Cat at all, until he makes it his life's mission to make Cat smile. Too bad she can't seem to avoid him in school, at work and at play!
