Lila Faith Dixon, she lived a normal life in a small town where everyone knew everyone. Everyone especially knew Lila since her father was the sheriff of the town. Now Lila had a fairly boring life, had a few friends, went to school, and had normal high school teenage drama to deal with. That is until a comer breezes into the small quiet town. Dimitri Peterson a 300 year old Vampire, was just expecting to pass through the town with no problems at all. But when he finds a battered up Lila and in an alley he can't just ignore the fact that she's there so he does what any "good guy" does, he saves her. But as soon as he comes in to contact with her body and smells her blood and he can't help but to have the urge to drain her dry. She's a Fey. They're blood is like a drug to Vampires.
