Snape's Little Princess

Nichole Halden has spent the last 14 years moving around the world from foster home to foster home, one day, after leaving another home, a strange man with black robes and Greasy black hair, shows up and takes her to a school she hadn't heard of since she was a little girl.
At said school Nichole is reunited with old friends and family (both literal and metaphoric) while making new friends, and finding new love interests with "the wrong sort"
The antics of a certain Dolores Umbrage are most unhelpful in Nichol's endeavor to discover who she is and who she wants to be. Will it be too much? Or will Nichole thrive and create new bonds that nobody dreamed possible?

This book is set in 5th year, and should hold relatively firmly to the actual plot of "The Order of the Phoenix" I am well aware that Harry Potter isn't exactly mainstream right now, but oh well. I started this ages ago, and I wasn't planning to do anything with it originally, but with Alan Rickman's death, it feels like a good thing to do. Almost my tribute to him, so please don't be too harsh. Just a quick warning, I tend to do adoption fanfictions. I'm probably trying compensate for something. So please forgive me for that. Anyway here goes nothing. I hope you all enjoy.
