When you grow up with a paleobotanist as a mother, and a more well known one at that, you tend to grow up surrounded by what she works with. Fossils of plant life are spread out through our home but mainly reside in her office. The office that holds memories as well as nightmares for her.

The line of work I've chosen doesn't sit well with her, but it's not her decision what I do with my life. Who is my mother you ask? Well, she's known as Ellie Sattler, but now she's Ellie Degler. Anyway, I'm now twenty-two years old and I've been offered a job at the re-creation of the sole reason behind my mother's darkest nightmares. I mean, who willingly agrees to be the Tyrannosaurus Rex Trainer? None other than me I guess, Charlie Degler.
