There was no warning. The group was ambushed on their way home from a delivery to a nearby village. Even though the bandits were successfully chased off, the Hawk Shifter Kytala was mortally wounded. Dying in the arms of her friends, she wondered what would happen to her. Would she fall into oblivion, or would her soul soar to heaven? Closing her eyes for the last time, she waited to find out what happens to the soul of a Changeling.
