"Life's not what you're given, it's what you make of your circumstances that defines you as a person."

College is always an experience. Some people get addicted to the freedom and others are just happy to have their own space. Arielle Evans has never been one to enjoy parties, or to move two states away from home just to get some breathing room, but this year she's done both. And it's starting to look like things might just be turning around in her life. Will college be enough to convince this anxious, socially inept freshman that there's more to life than what you're given? Or will a budding new romance be enough to scare her away from the possibility of change instead? This is the year that will make or break the rest of her life, so will Arielle be brave enough to take a chance and finally save herself?
