For many centuries ancient creatures and humans have coexisted with each other. Few were imprinted, they were considered the guardians. They helped keep peace between the humans and the other creatures. When everything started collapseing is when the guardians started...dissapearing.
One by one they started dissapearing. There were very few guardians left and very few of the chosen "beasts".
This is the story of a boy named Jake and his so called "beast" Kai.

In Jacob's story, the normal everyday human (portrayed by Jacob) is the one who has control - the monster (portrayed by Nekama) only has control or power if the person relinquishes control. This can be due to anger, fear, depression, any negative emotion that brings a person down. However, the monster can only sit in the background and make suggestions - it can't actually do anything unless the one in control gives it the reigns by completely giving up and giving in.Complete

Hope was almost lost, until a group of four brave individuals decided to leave the safety of The Oasis and bring the food that they need back home.
